One of the guys I follow on here-his brother graduated. He’s officially now a solider.
I know I said I wouldn’t get on here BUT I can make an exception for those who need recognition of their accomplishments made.

Heads up.

I’ve decided to give Military motivation a break. I made this blog to keep me distracted while my Marine is MIA and because he enjoyed getting on here. He’d get motivated by all the posts. But, I won’t lie, I’m going to be straight up about this, I’m not one to follow trends. Once I see a trend happening I go the other way-Now seems like every Military S/O is creating a blog to support their S/O out there. It’s just starting to become a trend.

Trust me, I’m not one to judge that. It’s definitely an awesome way to keep yourself motivated and up to date with the service people do for our country. Just now it’s all about making the coolest gif, finding cool pictures, debating on what branch is better, who’s higher ranking husband/boyfriend is better, who’s blog is better, who to reblog from, what you shouldn’t do, what you should say, etc.

It’s beginning to get annoying. In all honest, I don’t deserve credit at all for this blog. I did this for fun but I think I’m going to start living my life training to become a Marine instead of reblogging every single military post. Simply focusing more on my life and my future with my fiance. Guess I’m getting tired of that reblog button, haha.

Anyway, I’m going back to my personal blog going to at least try to be normal. Which I’m sooo desperately wanting. I just want my fiance to be able to come to me and completely forget about the Marine Corps. He can just focus on his family, his friends and being with everyone who’s missing him so. It’d be nice for him to finally just be home.

With that, won’t be on here much. Stay strong dear S/O’s out there. OORAH!

On Friday, November 18, 2011, Lance Corporal Josh “Chachi” Corral gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving his country with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Twentynine Palms, California, in the in the United States Marine Corps, in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He is a 2010 graduate of the high school I attend, and I have gone to school and church with him since kindergarden. He was two grades ahead of me and would always get the presidential fitness award every year. Everyone looked up to him. He played soccer all his life and football in high school. In July 2010, at the age of 17, he enlisted in the Marines. At boot camp he did the best out of all 700 plus recruits in the fitness area. Even though he was only 5’6” he was built like superman. He and a group of his friends all enlisted at the same time and graduated together. He left for his first deployment in September. He was supposed to be home next month. I admire his incredible strength and courage. There are people you want to be like and like his friend, Brock, said, “There are Marines you want to be like and there are Marines that Marines want to be like. He was the Marine Marines wanted to be like.” His favorite song that helped him get through boot camp and through the tough times is “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe and his favorite Bible verse, Romans 8:31, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” Chachi, if I can be at least half the man, the Marine you are, I’ll be a great man. Thank you for your service as well as your fellow Marine brothers. I know you are guarding the gates of heaven. Rest in Paradise.

This breaks my heart. NEVER Forgotten.

DISCLAIMER.

I don’t take credit of any picture posted on here based on active duty, military, etc. Obviously if I were in Iraq or in the military, I wouldn’t even be on Tumblr. Common knowledge, right?

I enjoy editing pictures and obviously, I give myself credit for that. Also, I add a caption on the bottom stating if a picture is mine or not. Just making myself clear for any future references.
